If we had to pick one word to describe the taste of fall it would be Pumpkin Bread! This is the perfect pumpkin bread – every time! No need for any other recipes – this is THE ONE!!!!! It is moist, dark, spicy, and melts in your mouth. A total classic! Everyone who tries it dies over it!!
Ingredients
1 1/4 cup oil
(1) 16 oz can pumpkin
2 cups sugar
5 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
(2) 3-oz packages vanilla pudding (instant)
nuts, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 loaf pans.
- Mix oil, eggs, and pumpkin in a large mixing bowl and beat well.
- Sift together flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice. Add to pumpkin mixture and mix until blended.
- Stir in pudding and nuts. Spread in prepared loaf pans.
- Bake for 55 min to 1 hour.
